Roy M. Gray

The Reverend Roy M. Gray was born in Scotland, April 23, 1904, and spent his childhood years there. He moved to British columbia with his parents and was able to receive his higher education at the University of British Columbia.

He was saved under the Ministry of the late Dr. Charles Price. He then attended Bible College at Glad Tidings Bible Institute, San Francisco, California 1923-1924. Then he transferred to Los Angeles Institute of Foursquare Evangelism (L.I.F.E.) 1924-1926. He became the Instructor and Assistant Dean to Aimee Semple McPherson, L.I.F.E. 1926-1937.

He received His A.B. and B.D. degrees from Los Angeles Baptist Theological Seminary. He became Instructor of Old Testament Hebrew, New Testament Greek, and New Testament Interpretation at Southern California Bible College 1939-1945. He served as Pastor to churches in Torrance, Fullerton, and Huntington Park, California, 1928-1952.

Dr. Gray joined the staff of Miracle Valley Bible College in 1958, and served as Dean of the College until 1976. He then moved to East Texas where he became Dean of East Texas Bible College until 1981. After his retirement he kept a busy schedule traveling and teaching in the Unted States and the Birtish Isles. After several months of illness, he entered into his eternal rest in California on January 8,1994.
