Behold I stand at the door and knock……Rev. 3:20

A QUICK LOOK AT REPENTANCE
To repent
: feel sorry for sin, to feel regret, to change one's mind….
SIN: breaking of religious or moral laws through a willful act - offense or fault -

-DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD'S LAWS-

SIN OUTLINED:

SIN is a very serious thing in God's sight. He made a supreme sacrifice to rescue us from the death penalty for sin. There are no big and little sins…..ALL SIN is rebellion against God, and be assured that NO SIN will enter God's PERFECT HEAVEN!

NOTE: The subject matter and the Scriptures given in this brief list (tract) are not intended to be a full explanation of the topics. However, this outline of some of the major kingdom principles will be a help to the serious student of Bible Study. Perhaps your Sunday school teacher/Pastor will be able to fully explore and explain each of the topics in this list. May God bless you as you open your Bible, and perhaps a dictionary and a Bible Concordance, to study God's plan and His will for your life.

SALVATION: Simply means you have received forgiveness of your sins and deliverance from evil of all kinds, accepting God's plan of redemption from sin: putting you on God's path to the enjoyment of His highest blessing.

Reading the Book of John is a great help in getting a basic understanding of who Jesus is and what he wants to do for all who will make the decision to follow him and be made a citizen of God's Kingdom. Here you find a revelation of the heart of God and Jesus as He walked on this earth among men. Next, just start reading Matthew, Mark, Luke and … John….again!

How do you progress, grow up, and mature in spiritual understanding?

G RO W T H - is very important!

The need for water baptism...

It is very important for you to find a church that prays much and teaches the Bible, and then find Christian friends that can help you to understand the Bible from a spiritual viewpoint.
A new life in Christ will need instruction and help to grow in the kingdom of God and the practice of spiritual principles.
Many times "old & familiar" friends must be forsaken because they will hinder your efforts to walk in God's will for you.

  BEWARE OF THE ENEMY!

As a new disciple of Christ, you have just enlisted in spiritual warfare. Now you have a very crafty, determined enemy that does not play by any set of rules - other than conquest by any means! (See Scripture List)

It is necessary to know that our God is ALMIGHTY! He is the Great I AM - and He is also a jealous God! He has every right to demand our total love and obedience, and your remembrance of the great sacrifice that was paid for your redemption.

Rom. 12:1-2 instructs us to become a "living sacrifice" on the altar of obedience to God. This is not too much to ask, when you go back and read in the four Gospels of the great price that Jesus paid.
